I was never one to feel geographically tied down. I have always thought of my self as a citizen of the world, a traveller. One of the hardest things to explain to someone who has always lived in the same place is the sensation of not belonging anywhere. It’s called the “eternal traveler syndrome” because once you leave, you are a traveler forever. But as Helen Keller once said: “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”
So here I am, currently in my hometown Cyprus feeling that my journey has lead me right back where I started. If you have been a follower of my blog then you are probably aware that I recently spent six months living in Lisbon, the amazing capital city of Portugal. For me travel and style go together like peanut butter and jelly or Adam and Eve or Hewlett & Packard or feminism and bra-burning or whipped cream and anything (I can go on forever). Like so many other famous couples throughout history, travel and style are a perfect match, to the point where I can barely conceive one without the other. And like so many fashionable jet-setters before me, I set out recording, documenting and sharing my journeys through my undying love for style and fashion. Enter The Classy Issue: The lovechild of my very own “eternal traveler syndrome” and my fashion sense—an acquired sense for sure, yet one so integral to who I am, it feels inherent.
Relocating to Cyprus with a new-found “zero fucks given” mentality and a whole new definitional formula on my own goals and targets, I feel fresh and thankfully lucky enough to be supported by an amazing creative team. A team that consists of talented and inspired professionals that share with me the same passion and vision for creativity and innovation.
It’s a new generation of fashion bloggers and it seems as men are taking over the reins of the ever-expanding blogosphere. The blog world has changed and I feel honoured to be considered part of the new crop of blogging sensations making an entrance into this modern day menaissance where style is king. I am more than ready for the next step and The Classy Issue is ready for the next level of this new-age fashion blogging. Exciting projects and collaborations, fresh faces and cutting-edge style are soon to come with the relaunched The Classy Issue.
